Classic well-equipped cabins on the lake, with a spectacular beach. After a shaky few years, Ponderosa Point is back, better than ever, under new management. This has been our go-to resort for relaxed family get-togethers for years, and we’ve never seen it so clean, well-organized and fun. Stephanie and Jason have upped the quality of virtually every activity, giving our four generations more than enough to do! But it’s also the perfect place to sit quietly on your deck by the lake with a cup of coffee and a book. And it’s still the best beach in the Okanagan! We can’t wait for our next visit!

Family fun at Ponderosa Point We had a wonderful time at Ponderosa Point, an amazing family resort with so much to do! Warm lake for swimming and water sports, well-equipped cabins, and great location make for an unforgettable family experience. Whether you have little kids or, like us, adult children, there is something for everyone in the Okanagan. Made us feel at home. Excellent facility for our group of 22. Our hosts were very helpful for our group. We biked from here for number of days. Would recommend this place. The kitchens and rooms were well equipped. Excellent location for biking the kettle valley rail trail.

Wonderful Family Getaway This is a special place. We have so many wonderful memories here as a family and a recent visit didn’t disappoint! Whether it was time at the lake, lounging on the beautiful beach, enjoying the many activities onsite, or just relaxing, Ponderosa Point is all about quality time. Great Experience! We spent a delightful, relaxing week in the Willow cabin at Ponderosa Point. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious with three bedrooms and a lovely patio overlooking Skaha Lake. The Kettle Valley Trail is right on the doorstep. Larch cabin under the ponderosas This is a gated, quiet, family friendly resort with a playground, water sport equipment free to use on a first come, first serve basis, the KVR walk/bike path close by, and a beautiful beach. It is a truly great setting right along Skaha Lake! We stayed in the Larch cabin which we found well equipped for two or more. We were able to cook supper for 5, which we ate on the deck while listening to an eagle in the pine above us and watching the sunset colours paint the still surface of the lake. Some of the lights in the cabin were not working and the cabin was not as clean as one could expect (special mention of the white streaks on the outdoor table that we were unable to scrub off…).

Dream vacation This was a dream for us and especially the kids. This place is such a hidden gem. Secluded, right on the lake, full of activities such as paddle boarding, dock fishing, basketball, swimming, kayaking and even tubing off a boat. Kids were always entertained.. movie night, water fight night … etc.… staff were super friendly and always took care of everything. would love to come back and spend a couple weeks whenever I can!!! Quintessential Canadian Summer Holiday This is a truly magical place, a quintessential Canadian summer. This is our 4th year in a row that we are going and will continue to go. The place is set up for having a young family, with a basketball court, a private beach with available kayaks and paddle boards, great playground for the kids, tennis court, volleyball court and right next to a wonderful trail where one can bike or run. The Perfect Vacation Location The management is very accommodating and keep the resort in excellent condition from lawns to cabins. Relax on the beach and enjoy the lake with their provided watercraft, or take a short ride (cycle or car) to golf or wineries. Cycling on the trails or around the lake which takes you into Okanagan Falls, Penticton and Naramata. The cabins are very cosy and clean, well equipped and have views of the lake. This would have been our 10th year but for missing the Covid year and hope to continue our annual vacation there.
