Quiet Time
Please respect a quiet time of 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Vehicles are not permitted on the grounds during this time.
Lost and Found
Please remember to check your room for items left behind, including outlets for chargers. Contact the Managers if you have left something. All un-claimed items will be donated at the end of October.
Internet
The network and password are recorded on the modem in each cabin.
Cottage Cleaning
Housekeeping staff do not enter cottages once they are occupied. Basic cleaning supplies and equipment are provided for use during your stay. If you need any extra items please just ask a staff member and we will be happy to get it for you.
Septic
Please remember we are on septic. Do not flush anything other then toilet paper down the toilet.
Towel and Linen change
For visits 1 week or longer, guests receive a towel change midweek, and a full linen change after one week.

You will find a laundry bag under the sink in the bathroom with a form attached. Please fill out the form, listing the quantity of your required items. Bags placed out without this form will not be looked through. Place soiled linens only (no empty boxes etc..) in the bag and place the bag outside your cottage door before 12 noon for pick up. Bags will be picked up by staff, and new items will be delivered in a fresh bag.
As usual you may request additional items needed at any time by contacting a staff member. Please do not help yourself to items on the carts or in the shed without permission from staff.
BBQ’s
A BBQ is provided for each cabin, on occasion you may run out of propane, we like to run the tanks dry before filling. Please text 250-809-7806 and we will bring a replacement tank right away. We also provide lighters and BBQ utensils, please let us know if you need any replacements.
No Glass
For obvious safety reasons, no glass whatsoever (bottles, wine glasses or other glassware) is permitted in the playground area, on the beach, on the beach volleyball court, or in the tennis court. There are plastic glasses in your cottage. If you need more, please ask.
Extra items
If you are wanting something in your kitchen or cabin that you do not see, check with a staff member, we may have one on hand. We keep a few odd and ends for people to use that are not regular stock. We also have some board games, DVD’s, and yard games that can be signed out.
Departure Procedure:
Check out time is 10:00 a.m. We know this is early, but this time is required to clean and re-stock the cabins for the arriving guests. We regret that during peak season we are unable to extend this time.
On departure day please do the following:
- Leave your cabin keys on the kitchen table or counter
- Upon leaving, please place the vacant sign on the outside of your door to let us know you are gone.
If you know you will be departing early, please let a staff member know as this will assist us greatly with facilitating housekeeping requirements.
Garbage/Recycling
Please try to organize your garbage, recycling, and bottle returns, into the designated bins beside your cabin. Staff will then empty these accordingly. Unfortunately, we cannot recycle non-deposit glass jars, styrofoam, soiled cardboard or plastic grocery bags. These items can go in general garbage.
